Here's a sculpt I did for the Swarm episode in Love, Death, Robots V3 while at Blur.
We started with 3d concepts instead of 2d ones on these - the concept sculpt was made by Zhelong Xu. I used that as a low res base for proportions and landmarking features, then sculpted/modeled from there on out. There were some design changes along the way, mostly on the head.
The texturing/shading was done by some badass who I cannot remember because it was 2 years ago - but they did an amazing job.
